While You Wait — Three Steps to Stop the Damage

Take these steps before we get there. They’ll save you thousands in water and gas damage.

Three-column or stacked emergency-style steps:

Step 1
🛑 Shut Off the Water Supply
Find the cold water shutoff valve on top of your water heater. Turn the handle clockwise until it stops. If you can't reach it or it won't turn, shut off the main water valve to your house — usually in the basement, near the meter.
Step 2
🔥 Turn Off the Gas (Gas Units) or Power (Electric)
Gas unit:Find the gas valve at the base of the unit. Turn it to the "off" position.
Electric unit: Go to your breaker panel and turn off the breaker labeled "water heater."
Step 3
🚪 Move Anything That Can Get Water Damaged
If there's an active leak or flooding, move boxes, electronics, furniture, or anything porous away from the area. Take photos for your insurance claim.

⚠️ SMELL GAS?

Don’t turn anything on or off. Leave the house immediately.
If the smell is strong, also call your gas company or 911.

What Happens When We Get the Call

Our Emergency Response, Step by Step

A tank-to-tankless conversion is one of the most common “installations” we do. But it’s more than swapping units. Here’s what’s actually involved so you can plan:

Four-step flow:

Step 1
You Call
A real person answers — not a voicemail, not a menu. We confirm the issue, your address, and dispatch the closest available licensed plumber.
Step 2
We Tell You What to Do Right Now
Over the phone, we walk you through shutoffs and safety steps while a plumber is en route.
Step 3
We Arrive Fast
Our trucks stock common replacement units, parts, valves, and supplies. Most emergencies we resolve in a single visit.
Step 4
We Solve It
Repair if possible, replacement if necessary. Flat-rate quote before any work — even at 2 AM. No "emergency surcharge" surprises.
